Hi, I’m kate rachel!
I grew up in a small town in Southern Colorado, where my early years were filled with family trips & exploration outdoors. I always had a camera at my side- and cherish these photos and videos so much now. I think these years, in addition to exploring family photos from before my time, have heavily shaped my view of photography & lead me to my creative voice.
I married the love of my life in 2021, & we’ve planted our roots in Florida. When I’m not working, you’ll find us at the beach, on a hike, or trying new restaurants!

my approach
I believe that history & storytelling through photography is rooted in connection, comfort, and authenticity- this has shaped my communication style & photography process a lot.
My utmost desire for each of my clients is to create a unique collection of images that captures the full essence of who they are together, and every small emotion & interaction of a day that is woven so deeply into their hearts and story. I am passionate about photography as a medium for family history- this has driven an effort to create imagery that is timeless, truthful, and accurately represents the unique culture and personalities of each of my couples.
I curate a custom, full service experience for each of my couples that covers multiple media to document their story.
